This nondescript warehouse building houses one of my favorite places—the Independent Publishing Resource Center in Portland, Oregon.
It’s home to a myriad of fantastic printing equipment available for folks to make cool zines, comics, posters, or whatever else you can dream up. Photocopiers, laser printers, risograph machines, screen printing, letterpress, stack cutters, binding machines, they have it all.
The IPRC is a little bit of heaven for someone who’s been joyfully self-publishing mini-comics for their whole life.
Here’s a video we shot in there a few years ago making an Incredible Doom mini-comic.
