Out of curiosity, I figured out when I decided *cartoonist* was the job for me. It was shortly after reading [Spider-Man #18](https://www.marvel.com/comics/issue/10776/spider-man%5F1990%5F18?ref=matthewbogart.net), which Marvel published in January of 1992.

Time from then till now: 28 years.
