# Putting tones on “Spider-Man Blue”

Last night I took a page from [Spider-Man Blue](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man:%5FBlue?ref=matthewbogart.net) by Tim Sale and stripped the color out of it. This, by itself, is a [fun hobby](https://twitter.com/MatthewBogart/status/1262820475404783623/photo/1?ref=matthewbogart.net).

Inspired by how beautifully Sale lights his scene I spent a couple hours applying the two tones I use in my own comics to it.

Fun way to spend an evening.
