I just read an interview with [Derek Kirk Kim](https://web.archive.org/web/20041206005634/http://www.smallstoriesonline.com/) at [Comixpedia](https://web.archive.org/web/20041206005634/http://www.comixpedia.com/html/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=310&mode=thread&order=0&thold=-1). It’s a great site that just got even better by saying:

“**CP**: There’s a lot of pooping in your comics. Why is this?\\  
**DKK**: Everyone poops. Pooping is fun. Pooping is good. And poop is a good metaphor for life, too.”
